About New York City

It would be a challenge to find a corner of the world that has not heard of Wall Street. New York City is where much of American history takes place and where much of American culture is shaped and shared with the world. It is also one of the most global cities in the world and a natural setting for United Nations Headquarters. New York City does not take this privilege lightly, and takes pride in having become  the first city in the world to systematically align its sustainability goals with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Public and private sectors work together to localize these goals and discovering the context and approach is a key theme of this program.
