At Insight, we use travel as an educational platform to expose youth to diverse and fascinating regions, as well as to inspire critical thinking and global citizenship.

Our program itineraries are as unique as your students. We’ll work with teachers and administrators to ensure that each tour is customized to your school’s chosen themes and needs.

With the support of a variety of local vendors and NGO’s, we can guarantee that your students will get an authentic and local experience.

Comprehensive program costs

While costs vary by location, we make it simple. There are never hidden fees, exclusions or add-ons, making the trip planning process straightforward and transparent.

Each program fee includes:

Roundtrip travel expenses
All accommodations
All meals and water
All program activities and experiences
All teacher chaperone costs at an 8:1 ratio
Comprehensive travel insurance (medical, travel and cancellation)
Curriculum units to accompany program themes
Global and locally-based facilitators
Pre-program orientations and post-program debriefing

Beginning the planning process

Want to take your students or group on a unique experience? Review our program locations and suggested themes.

Connect with one of our High School Educators who will help custom design your program.

With our assistance, submit the required paperwork and details to your administration and/or school board.

Announce the trip to your students – we’ll provide any materials you might need!

Invite us to your school for an information night. We’ll be there to answer questions, review the program proposed and support the student sign up process.

Program themes

At Insight, all of our programs are customized to meet your group’s interests and needs. Each travel program is typically made up of two to three program themes that influence the itinerary and activities included.

Safety

Safety is our top priority here at Insight. Before each program gets approved, we’ll answer any and all questions you may have to ensure that you feel confident in our risk mitigation and safety procedures. Each year, we undergo intensive risk assessments in each of our locations in which we operate. We take thorough precautions to maintain the physical, emotional and mental health of each participant while travelling abroad with us.

As part of our risk mitigation strategy, all our High School travel programs include:

Parent and student pre-program preparation
Orientation and daily briefings
An experienced team of local guides and global facilitators
Reputable hotels and bus and/or transit operators
Professionally managed itineraries
Comprehensive travel insurance
Clear student safety rules and policies

If a medical emergency should arise, our in-country team and facilitators are there to support students and teachers with obtaining medical care. When developing an itinerary, our team ensures that each location offers access to emergency medical care.
